SNEC-SWCS GRANT PROGRAM

The Southern New England Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SNEC-SWCS) thanks you for your interest in its grant program. It is the intention of the Chapter to encourage requests for grants of funds from governmental, academic and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for worthwhile efforts. Requests must fit the mission of SNEC-SWCS, have a lasting value and be of Chapter wide significance.

The Mission of the Chapter is to promote protection, improvement and responsible use of natural resources in Southern New England through education of resource professionals and other interested citizens, groups and units of government.

The amount of funds available for grants will be determined by the annual budget, as well as additional funds received by the Chapter.

The deadline for proposals is June 1 of each year. Proposals postmarked after this deadline will be considered for the following year if desired by the applicant.

Please submit your proposal as early in the year as possible so that we can contact you for further information, if necessary. Organizations will be selected for funding by the end of June and will be notified by the end of July in the same calendar year. Funds will be issued by the following September 1.
